About the event

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we are encouraging local businesses and agencies to host Culturally Relevant Food Drives.

Food is nutrition and health, and it is also so much more. Food is part of all the major events in our lives. Food means family, comfort, culture, memories, celebrations, holidays, and so much more.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we will be giving food collected through these food drives to those food pantries and other agencies that are primarily feeding our Hispanic neighbors. Food drives should be held between September 15 – October 15. If you would like to host a food drive, please email our Loaves & Fishes’ Marketing & Communications Manager, Daneen Schatzle, at info@WeRescueFood.org

If you need boxes and signage to support your food drive, Loaves & Fishes is happy to support your food drive with those items. You may download and print food drive signage at https://werescuefood.org/events/. Email info@werescuefood.org for more information.
